January The online Arts mag Exposeonline.co.uk is a year old. My work was featured in the third showcase Time, I've added a link to the bottom of the page. They are open to submissions. My work is featured in the eBook, The Chook-Illustrators the links at the bottom of the page if you would like to have a look it’s got some really awesome work in it. I’m currently working on something for my next show and looking forward to my next project so if you have one, drop me a line. December Happy Christmas and have a great New Year I’m currently working with Winstar Foods on a series of packaging illustrations and I’ve just finished an illustration for Aimée Furnival’s Post Garden, when this is up and running I will be posting a link. I’m still on the lookout for an agent. November I'm currently available for work so if you have a project in mind please get in touch. October I’m currently working on a logo revamp for HotRox UK and some self initiated projects I should have these posted before Christmas. I’ve updated the portfolio with My Playground, inspired by London, Nottingham Goose fair and some of my favorite Architecture; I’m a big fan of Richard Rogers and Sir Norman Foster. With the pink and flowers it’s all gone a bit girly and I’m happy with the result. September My work in Computer Arts, I’m so happy issue 167. I recently sent a packaging tube to Mail Me Art 2, it took quite a few hours to draw, I really wanted to be part of the first MMA but I did’t have time. Below you can see more work for the project. It’s a great idea and still open for submissions. I think the deadline is March 2010. Take a look, links at the top of the page. August My work will be in next month’s issue of Computer Arts in the Exposure section. I have always been a big fan of CA so getting my work in there made me VERY HAPPY! Made an update to the portfolio, it’s the artwork for the new album from Frank Macowski, this artwork will also feature on his soon to be launched website. I’ll be adding a link when it’s all up and running. June Fresh work I’ve added to the portfolio is Greenalls, I really like the design of the bottle, and the gins not half bad too. And Extreme Drilling. Exhibition extended. My work will be at The Artworks Gallery Newcastle until the end of July, if you would like to pop in. May This month I've been busy working on a Portfolio Selection, and It's finished so I've added a link to the bottom of the page if you would like to get a copy. Also I've joined Hai “Hire an Illustrator” It's a great site, showcasing many talented Illustrators. I’m also going to be showing some work at the Home Grown exhibition at the Art Works Gallery Newcastle from the 5th of June. February I’ve updated the portfolio with fresh work Climb Up and Under Construction and just finished a piece for Popshot, a while back a was lucky enough to be invited to contribute to a new magazine, Popshot…So here’s a little about it, Popshot is an illustration + poetry magazine. Each issue holds a collection of poems, written to a theme, which are then sent out to selected illustrators who illustrate the poem according to their interpretation of the piece. “This was a really interesting and challenging project loved it”. Check the link for more info. My work on the cover! I got a call today asking if my work could be used on this year’s cover of Contact, New Talent after I’d stopped grinning like an idiot, I said yes! January Well it's a new year and I've added some new pieces to the portfolio; Blue Day, Like Clockwork, & Chillian. I've been working very hard over the holidays, as I'm having my second show in April, at the Lace Market Gallery Nottingham I will be uploading a flyer closer the date. November I've just finished work on a design for ZooYork the US Clothing / Skateboard Company. It's to be used for the woman's clothing line, it was great to work with them. Several of my works have been used by Boomerang Media for various promotions and can be found in Gyms, Odeon Cinemas and Universities all over the UK.
